Arnold and Betty Greenberg were steadfast believers in the dignity of every person and the power of practical kindness. Throughout their lives, they gave quietly and consistently — helping neighbors, supporting community causes, and making a difference without seeking recognition. 

Arnold was a corporal in the 5th Army during World War II, serving in Italy and Germany. Afterwards, he worked in the meatpacking industry, eventually establishing his own business. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, a non-sectarian, international fraternal order emphasizing principles of friendship, charity, and benevolence. 

Betty was part of the Women's Workforce during World War II. Later, she had positions in a number of commercial businesses, eventually becoming a teacher of English as Second Language (ESL). She was involved in bringing meaningful events to whichever township she lived at the time. 

This foundation carries forward their spirit, honoring their values through work that reaches those who serve to protect our freedoms.
